How to Play

Welcome to the Cloud Architecture Dojo. Your goal is to manage a critical cloud infrastructure failure, making key decisions to minimize downtime and cost.

The Architecture Diagram

This is your command center. It shows a live, simplified view of your application's architecture. When components fail, they will turn red. When they are recovering, they will turn yellow.

Failure Injection

Use these controls to start a disaster scenario. Once a scenario is active, these buttons will be disabled.

Recovery Actions

Once a scenario is active, relevant recovery buttons will become available. You must choose the correct action based on the alerts in the System & Ops Log. Choosing the wrong action will have negative consequences, such as increased cost, higher latency, or new component failures.
